Blackie decided to concoct one grand cake, so that every Fish we knew could have a slice, and feel celebrated.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1025\" title=\"Happy Birthday Pisces Cake\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fishcakes1.jpg\" alt=\"Happy Birthday Pisces Cake\" width=\"640\" height=\"1010\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fishcakes1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fishcakes1-190x300.jpg 190w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This first version was pretty to look at\u2014especially with Neptune and the Mermaid Queen sitting on top. But then Blackie remembered that not everyone likes anchovies.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1026\" title=\"Fish Cake II\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fishcakes2.jpg\" alt=\"Fish Cake II\" width=\"640\" height=\"839\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fishcakes2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fishcakes2-228x300.jpg 228w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This second attempt was a little closer to something our friends might actually eat. This time Blackie used a cream cheese frosting and made the fish out of marzipan, dipped in edible gold dust. This one is for all our friends who are having a challenging week. We just want you to know that you are in our thoughts and hearts today as well.<\/p>\n<p>So Happy Birthday, Pisces, and sweet dreams, Everyone.
