I was just about to head to bed last night when I decided to sign on to Facebook<\/a>, and see what my creative cohorts were up to. One of my friends and favorite artist buddies, Christopher Lyles<\/a>, had posted about a friendly little competition to submit an author portrait for Jon Scieszka\u2019s Facebook Fan Page. That\u2019s right\u2014the famous author<\/a> of none other than the Stinky Cheese Man<\/a> book, which is Daisy Mouse\u2019s absolutely favorite! Here is my entry, Ambassador Cheese.<\/p>\n

How could I resist? The prize is a box of Jon\u2019s books, and I knew how gladly they’d be received by the mousefellows. (When Daisy babysits for her sister\u2019s kids, this is all they ever want her to read aloud to them at bedtime.)<\/p>\n
