She and Ranger padded out to the front hallway to investigate and came back to bed <em>swearing<\/em> that she saw our girl Charlotte on the front steps, dressed in royal robes and jewels, bearing goodies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Was it real, or was it just a dream?<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1656\" title=\"Charlotte, Queen of Sheba\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sheba.jpg\" alt=\"Charlotte, Queen of Sheba\" width=\"640\" height=\"660\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sheba.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sheba-290x300.jpg 290w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I suspect the latter\u2014and not just because she said it was daylight out\u2014but since earlier today, Little Mouse had been looking at some art books, and was quite taken by Edward Poynter\u2019s 1890 painting, \u201c<a title=\"The Visit of the Queen of Sheba\" href=\"http:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/File:'The_Visit_of_the_Queen_of_Sheba_to_King_Solomon',_oil_on_canvas_painting_by_Edward_Poynter,_1890,_Art_Gallery_of_New_South_Wales.jpg#_\" target=\"_blank\">The Visit of the Queen of Sheba to King Solomon<\/a>.\u201d Who can blame her? It\u2019s pretty wonderful.<\/p>\n<p>However, I can\u2019t help wishing it <em>wasn\u2019t<\/em> a dream, as that <a title=\"Spinach and Matzoh Pie\" href=\"http:\/\/www.epicurious.com\/recipes\/food\/views\/Spinach-and-Matzoh-Pie-242019\" target=\"_blank\">spinach and matzoh pie<\/a> would have been awfully nice to have for breakfast!<\/p>\n<p>Sending best wishes your way today as we ease into Good Friday, Passover, and the Easter holiday weekend.
