Her mission? To spring Dad out of the rehab facility (where he\u2019s been staying for the last two weeks, following his hip replacement), and bring him back home.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1946\" title=\"Charlotte's Dream\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/charlottes-dream-640.jpg\" alt=\"Charlotte's Dream\" width=\"640\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/charlottes-dream-640.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.catdoodles.com\/dailydoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/charlottes-dream-640-287x300.jpg 287w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In her dream, Charlotte wore a magnificent turban, big enough to conceal 2 bags of cookies, in case she and Stella got hungry along the way (even though in real life she\u2019s on a diet). She also wore her favorite polka dot pajamas (that she outgrew 2 seasons ago), and the bunny slippers that she wanted for Christmas last year (but which couldn\u2019t be found in any stores). I love how dreams often do that\u2014i.e., mimic reality, but make it even better.<\/p>\n<p>But the reality, in this case, is pretty hard to beat: Dad really is coming home, in just two more days, having made excellent progress getting back on his feet. We\u2019re all very happy and excited\u2014for him and for us!<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s to all our best dreams coming true. (\u2014And <em>not<\/em> the scary ones where we are naked on stage, etc..)
