I feel like the lovely Charlotte\u2019s been in the hot seat for the last few days, so today\u2019s doodle focuses on Flora Mouse and Max, and their swell but unusual friendship.<\/p>\n

\"MaxAfter making the above doodle for Dad, I thought I\u2019d flesh out Max and Flora\u2019s backstory with a few looser scribbles, explaining how they met…<\/p>\n

\"Max<\/p>\n

For starters, Max is the only one of Flora\u2019s male friends willing to watch Twilight, which is her favorite film. (So, duh, of course she loves him.)<\/p>\n

\"Max<\/p>\n

\"MaxInterestingly, Flora and Twilight\u2019s Bella have a few things in common. For starters, they both met their new interspecies pal in Biology class, while teamed up as lab partners.<\/p>\n

Soon afterwards, both were dramatically rescued in their schools\u2019 parking lots by their new BFFs, thereby cementing the bond.<\/p>\n

\"Max<\/p>\n

\"Vegetarians\"<\/p>\n

\"Max<\/p>\n

There’ve been a few hurdles to overcome, of course, but nothing Max and Flora couldn\u2019t handle; the cartoon Max, like his real-life counterpart, is simply not a \u201cmouser,\u201d and that\u2019s huge.<\/p>\n
